In the context of the ESMA Museum and Site of Memory’s candidacy to the Unesco World Heritage List, a meeting with representatives of Argentine Sites of Memory was held on Friday, December 13th, 2019 at the Mercosur’s Institute of Public Policies on Human Rights. The museum’s executive director Alejandra Naftal presented the nomination together with the team that is carrying out the Work Plan, which received the support of the attendees. Special guests from Brazil and Uruguay included the Institute’s executive secretary Juan Miguel González Bibolini and Daniel Tarnopolsky, representative of the former Esma’s Board of Human Right Organizations.
