The Future of Memory. Workshop with Schools
In an event organized together with the Goethe Institute, 160 middle school students visited the Museum and produced a collectively-written manifesto asking themselves: What do we call ‘Never Again’?
As part of the project “The Future of Memory” –an initiative to reflect on and imagine the evolution of memory and dictatorships, violence and armed conflicts of the last decades– the Museum and the Goethe Institute created a training and reflection event for 160 students between the ages of 12 and 15 from the Moreno German Technical School and the Cangallo School.
The seminar started with a guided tour and ended with the reading of the Manifesto created by the students. These activities took place at the House for Identity of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo. Final words were delivered by philosopher Darío Sztajnszrajber. Attendees included Luisa Wettengel from the Elisabeth Käsemann Stiftung Foundation.
